January 2024 President’s Letter

Welcome to the New Year, hopefully everyone had a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New year.

I would like to start by congratulating Dana Ausec, Tish Johnson and their Teammates on such a great showing at the 2023 World Senior Championships.

The Carole Henderson Holiday Doubles Tournament saw an increase to 189 sets of Doubles, up from 148 last Year and 109 the previous year.

Our next Tournament is the Youth City Championships being held at Pinheadz Bowling Center January 20, 21, 27, and 28.  Followed by the Lee & Artie Cromwell Mixed City (Adult) at King Pin Lanes February 10, 11, 17, & 18.

The Colorado State Open Handicap Championships Tournament will be held in Colorado Springs this Year at King Pin Lanes and Harmony Bowl in May and the first weekend in June.

On a sadder note, former PPUSBC and Colorado State USBC President Ken Mayo passed on Dec 23, 2023
